Marathon coaching for a stronger final 10K
A marathon plan has to prepare you for the part after the comfortable miles. I write your training from your current running, available time and race target. Long-run practice, fueling and recovery belong in the same plan. We use evidence to choose a pace you can defend, then review how the block is working.
How do we choose a marathon target?
Start with recent racing and completed training. A shorter race gives a reference, but it does not prove marathon durability. I look at the training behind the number before agreeing on a target.
What happens when I miss a long run?
We review what happened and what is still practical. A missed session does not become a debt to cram into the following weekend. The next week needs to work as a week.
Choose the feedback you will use.
| Support | Every 4 weeks | Support |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $250 | A personal plan and a weekly review. Clear priorities, without daily messaging. |
| Performance | $350 | Regular feedback, a monthly strategy call and TrainingPeaks Premium included. |
| Elite | $750 | Weekly calls, same-day feedback and TrainingPeaks Premium. Four 60-minute in-person sessions total included for local athletes. |
Questions, answered.
What does coaching cost?
Essential is $250, Performance $350 and Elite $750 every four weeks. That is 13 payments per year. I cap the total roster at 15 athletes; Elite has a four-athlete cap. Availability is confirmed individually.
Who writes and reviews the plan?
I do. Your recent training, feedback and calendar shape the next block. Apex adapts a software plan and is a separate offer.
What should I bring to the first call?
Your target event, a recent representative result, the training you have actually completed and a typical work week. Tell me what you cannot move before we discuss what to add.
